Marjorie’s French Summer Bery Tart

I will be blogging very soon about the INCROYABLE dinner we had at Marjorie’s lovely apartment in Beaune, but in the meantime here is something to celebrate summer, Frenchitude-style.

You must check out her new website, and, if you are in Beaune, reserve a spot at one of her phenomenal market tours and lunches or dinners with the cook. It will be one of the favorite parts of your trip – promis.

Symphony Splash!

In an effort to show Les Henras a little bit of that Canuck spirit in the summertime, we took a picnic dinner down to the Inner Harbour last night and spent the evening lounging on the Parliament lawns listening to the Symphony Splash concert. It was hard to say what was the best part of the evening – the Tschakovsky overture, Clem’s non-stop dancing, or the glow wands that were AWESOME for light saber battles.

Bienvenue Au Canada!

What a week…trans-atlantic trip from France, move into new rental, hours spent at Municipal office (with jetlag – hellish) trying to figure out bylaws for house build, then our French friends who arrived Friday for a month of Canadian adventures.
